Une étude réalisée par la CNOPS sur le diabète

La Caisse Nationale des Organismes de Prévoyance Sociale (CNOPS) a réalisé une étude sur ses assurés diabétiques et leurs dépenses entre 2008 et 2013.

A l’image des tendances actuelles à l’échelle mondiale et nationale, le nombre des personnes diabétiques assurées par la CNOPS a atteint 49 169 en 2013, contre 22 079 en 2008. Les dépenses de soins de ces personnes diabétiques sont passées, quant à elles, de 5%  en 2008 à 8%  en 2013 du total des dépenses de soins gérées par la CNOPS, en passant de 183 MDH en 2008 à 379 MDH en 2013.
Ainsi, le diabète est la première affection de longue durée en termes d’assurés atteints (40% du total d’assurés atteints d’ALD) et la 4ème en termes de dépenses de soins relatives aux ALD (14% des dépenses en ALD).
